Have you registered? Great, you will now receive a PM with your information in it! You'll receive and ID and a room and be assigned to your dorm, and your horse will receive the same
In the dorms, create 1 thread per human character; this is your room! Use the first post to explain how the room looks when you enter. Be as creative as possible, even post drawings if you want to! If you're still uncertain, check out Ellie Valen's room in the Eastern Dorm. You can roleplay as much as you like in your dorm room, you don't always have to be multiple people in there. Your character(s) can make music or listen to music on their own and you can make multiple posts without waiting for a reply (check out Ellie's room for an example). Your room is your own personal area where you can do whatever you please! However, if your music gets too loud, someone might come knock at your door!
To knock at someone's door, you have to use the hallway to get to their room and knock, then post a reply in their thread saying that you knocked. If they let you in, you can tell them to quiet down in their room's thread. Once you're done there, you can use the hallway to walk back to your room and do whatever you were doing in peace.
The stables are very much the same, and you will find some horses already waiting in them. You do the same as above, where you have one thread per horse, where either the horse can go about it's business on it's own or you can go join it in the stable. If your horse wants to interact with another, post it in the aisle. You should also lead your horse through the aisle when you're taking it to pasture or to a lesson (more information about lessons on a separate thread)
When you put your horse in pasture, you have the opportunity to roleplay as it. Pastures are open when there is a post saying *DAY BEGINS* and closes when there is a post saying *NIGHT BEGINS*. Remember to give your horse some personality; they can break away while you're leading them there, or they can keep fighting with other horses. If this happens, your character can go to the principal and ask to move pastures. Also keep in mind that while the pasture is the only place that you can roleplay as your horse, you should try to keep it realistic. Horses cannot speak to each other, so you would need to describe their body language (check out the pasture for an example). Horses can also injure themselves, and the severity is determined by the random generator (it will almost always be a minor injury, except when you message the admin to tell them that it is a part of your plot)
Still confused? Reply down below if you are!
